What it takes to research a story for @natgeotravel … This is the Dientes Circuit, the southernmost trekking route on Earth! This is Patricio Colivoro, a Mapuche leader fighting to create an ECMPO (or Indigenous Marine Area) surrounding Chile’s Guafo Island (pictured). The wooden churches of Chiloe ⛪️🪵✨ The seaweed divers of Isla Guafo 🤿🪓👽 Pretend captain on his way out to Guafo Island, an 8-hour sail off the coast of Chilean Patagonia👨‍✈️⛵️🐋 Did you know that Buenos Aires has more bookstores, per capita, than any other city in the world?
